Selecting an appropriate research topic

Being a budding researcher, you can choose and write on research topics that fascinate you, and at the same time, the topic needs to be unique for the field of study. The topic should be able to fill in the research gap and answer the research study problems of the previous literatures.  Being an academician, you need to select the topic that is more feasible than others. In addition, you need to keep in mind the end goal of your research during topic selection. The end goal is publication of the research in form of articles in national and international journals. In general, research is done taking into consideration a target audience. You may be fascinated with your chosen research topic, but if it does not meet the reader’s need, then it might not be considered as an appropriate research topic. Moreover, selecting such topics may lead to fund resistance due to low reader’s interest.
