Superhydrophobic hybrid film coatings were prepared from the dispersions of siloxane-modified polyacrylate associated with organo-modified clay (OMC-20A) and hydrophobic-fumed silica (FS-H15) coated on glass and cement boards by a dipping process. The hydrophobicity, surface morphology, surface energy, and surface roughness of the obtained hybrid film coatings (HBFCs) were investigated.

Hot corrosion behaviour of HVAF coatings deposited on Fesingle bond25Crsingle bond20Ni support hanger material
hot Hot corrosion is a serious problem in petrochemical heaters, boilers, and gas turbines where a material with good oxidation resistance can oxidize severely in the presence of salts and oxides. Hot corrosion is a complex process which involves dissolution or weakening of the passive oxide layer responsible for oxidation resistance and promotion of oxidation […]
Breakthrough in Photopolymer Coatings: Improved UV Protection and Durability with Nanofiber Reinforcement
Photopolymer coatings are light-sensitive polymers that cure when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) radiation. They’re widely used in various industries, including electronics, automotive, and construction, due to their excellent adhesion, chemical resistance, and protective properties. However, conventional photopolymers often suffer from limited UV stability and mechanical weakness. This can lead to premature degradation and reduced performance, […]
Unveiling the Future of Hydrogen Production: CNT-ZnO Core-Shell Photoanodes in Photoelectrochemical Water Splitting
Hydrogen is considered to be a very efficient and clean fuel since it is a renewable and non-polluting gas with a high energy density; thus, it has drawn much attention as an alternative fuel, in order to alleviate the issue of global warming caused by the excess use of fossil fuels. In this work, a […]
