A team of researchers from Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg has discovered a new ribozyme called SAMURI. SAMURI can precisely modify other RNA molecules at a specific site of an adenine. This ability makes it a valuable tool for RNA research and could also be used for therapeutic purposes in the future.
