The Assam Publication Board is going to set up a selling point in each district of the state from March onwards. Secretary Promod Kalita stated that in every district a bookstall will be announced as a franchise of the board under this initiative.They would have pre-set selection method. The stall owner would be liable to pay security money to become a franchise.
