Grading adjectives – English editing.

Modifying an adjective by placing one or more adverbs in front of it. For example:
A beautiful view.
A rather beautiful tropical garden.
Extremely beautiful drawings.
Only qualitative adjectives can be graded. Classifying adjectives cannot normally be graded.
