A modal auxiliary verb used in the formation of future tense:
Simple future: I/We shall see.
Future continuous: I/We shall be seeing.
Future perfect: I/We shall have seen.
Future perfect continuous: I/We shall have been seeing.
As these example demonstrate, shall is traditionally used for the first person (I and We).
