Intransitive verb – English editing.

A verb that does not have to be followed by an Object. For example:
Groan: The man on the terrace was groaning.
Laugh: We both laughed.
Some verbs can be either Transitive or intransitive. For example, write:
Why hadn’t Ken told him he was writing?
She was writing an essay.
