High

Use high to describe something that is a long way above the ground (or whose top is a long way above the ground): ‘The rooms on the ground floor have very high ceilings.’

Greater than normal in degree, intensity or amount: ‘The top shelf was too high for me to reach.’ ‘The high wall made it impossible for prisoners to escape.’
